Parallel Strand Lumber
Parallel strand lumber is a high-strength structural engineered lumber product manufactured by gluing strands of wood together under pressure. Since all imperfections of natural wood are removed, PSL is more uniform and stronger than solid timber. PSL is used for structural components, including: beams, loaded columns, headers, and lintels for light framing construction. As an attractive building material, PSL is also suitable for applications where appearance is important.
